Rich Schaefer is the regional vice president, Central Region, for Core & Main, a leading specialized distributor with a focus on water, wastewater, storm drainage and fire protection products, and related services. Schaefer is responsible for sales growth, profitability and operational excellence for the region, which includes Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Ohio and Southern Illinois.

Schaefer is responsible for sales growth, profitability and operational excellence for the region, which includes Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Ohio and Southern Illinois.

Schaefer earned his MBA in accounting from Missouri State University and a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In addition to his full-time work at Core & Main, Schaefer serves on the board for the Water and Sewer Distributors of America (WASDA). Schaefer is also a Missouri Licensed Certified Public Accountant.
